CENTERstage Productions announces auditions for the classic Greek Tragedy, The Trojan Women by Euripides.
Widely considered the greatest anti-war play ever written, The Trojan Women remains both timeless and timely, a poignant meditation on the aftermath of battle. The play centers on Hecuba, the fallen queen of Troy, and her grief at the loss of her city and her family at the conclusion of the Trojan War.
This version is Euripides’ script as translated by Richard Lattimore BUT freely adapted by Lou Trapani so as to speak to modern audiences and war in the 21st Century.
