Summer Camp 2025
Enjoy theater camp on a real stage!
The CENTER for Performing Arts at Rhinebeck offers summer theater programs for ages 5 to 17 with 1-3 week workshops that explore all facets of the theatrical experience. All camps take place in our air conditioned theatre and on our lovely grounds in Rhinebeck, NY. While building a community of friendship and respect, our campers learn skills that help them in theatre but that also have real world applications.
Our youngest campers enjoy a range of one-week camps with Friday performances free for family and friends.
This summer we are offering two 2-week production camps for ages 7-10: Disney’s Finding Nemo KIDS* and Annie KIDS*.
More intensive 3-week summer camps for actors ages 11-17 include public productions of Beetlejuice, Jr.* and The Spongebob Musical.**
Specialized afternoon camps include Voice for Theatre, Dance for Theatre, Scene Study, and Backstage Camp.
Song and Dance Camp is back with two opportunities to play, dance, and sing with new and old friends. Participants can get comfortable with the performing arts with no pressure to perform.
Any experience level is welcome in any of our camps!
Please note that session age ranges are firm.
We require a copy of each participant’s immunization forms to attend our camps. At this time we do not require a Covid-19 vaccination to attend our camps. However, we do encourage participants to be vaccinated and anyone vaccinated is welcome to submit that information. Our staff members are fully vaccinated.
We closely follow CDC recommendations, and our protocols may change. If you are not willing to follow our protocols, please do not register for our camps!
Please be sure that you can accept emails from our registration software, Active Network, as well as our office emails, which end @centerforperformingarts.org.
We thank you in advance for your continued support and flexibility. Our goal is to provide a safe experience for all involved in our camps. And to have fun. :)
If you are interested in weekly summer dance classes, please check under Dance Studio in the next few months.
