Matilda has astonishing wit, intelligence... and special powers! She's unloved by her cruel parents but impresses her schoolteacher, the highly loveable Miss Honey. Matilda's school life isn't completely smooth sailing, however – the school's mean headmistress, Miss Trunchbull, hates children and just loves thinking up new punishments for those who don't abide by her rules. But Matilda has courage and cleverness in equal amounts and could be the school children's saving grace!
This show is approximate 60 minutes long with no intermission.

The show features all of the memorable songs from the animated film, with music and lyrics by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, plus five new songs written for the Broadway production.

Kids on Stage is excited to present an adaptation of one of the most famous fantasy books, The Hobbit.
Follow Bilbo Baggins on a journey through Middle Earth with a band of rowdy dwarves and a wizard named Gandalf. Based on the classic book by J.R.R. Tolkien, The Hobbit is full of magic and excitement. Performed by our Kids on Stage workshop participants.
Approximately 75 minutes long.
Best for middle school aged and above.

Experience the holiday classic A Christmas Carol, written by Lou Trapani and inspired by the story by Charles Dickens. This version is a musical and will be performed by our Kids on Stage workshop participants.
Ebenezer Scrooge loves one thing- money. But did he always? On a Christmas Eve, Scrooge is visited by four ghosts that warn him of his potential fate by showing him Christmases Past, Present, and Future. Will Scrooge change his miserly ways? Will Tiny Tim have a Happy Christmas? You'll have to join us to find out!

The classic story tells of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed to his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity. Directed by Lynne Czajka.

Marlin, an anxious and over-protective clownfish, lives in the Great Barrier Reef with his kid Nemo, who longs to explore the world beyond their anemone home. But when Nemo is captured and taken to Sydney, Marlin faces his fears and sets off on an epic adventure across the ocean. With the help of lovable characters such as optimistic Dory, laid-back sea turtle Crush, and the supportive Tank Gang, Marlin and Nemo both overcome challenges on their journey to find each other and themselves.

Kids on Stage is excited to present an abridged version of one of William Shakespeare's funniest plays, A Midsummer Night's Dream.
Magic and mischief abound in this story of what happens when humans and fairies collide (sometimes literally!) in the forest. The Fairy Queen and King are fighting, four young people are just trying to find love, and a group of workers are trying to put on a play. Approximately an hour long, this production is a wonderful introduction to Shakespeare or just a wonderful morning of live theatre!

Carrie is a musical with a book by Lawrence D. Cohen, lyrics by Dean Pitchford, and music by Michael Gore that adapts Stephen King's haunting 1974 novel. Carrie White is a teenage outcast who longs to fit in. At school, she’s bullied by the popular crowd, and virtually invisible to everyone else. At home, she's dominated by her loving but cruelly controlling mother. What none of them know is that Carrie’s just discovered she’s got a special power, and if pushed too far, she’s not afraid to use it.
Performed by The CENTER's Kids on Stage Performance Group, directed by Vera Perry with musical direction by Lee Stowe.
