Up In One Productions announces auditions for It’s A Wonderful Life, adapted for the stage from Frank Capra‘s heartwarming, holiday film starring James Stewart. The story centers on small-town banker, George Bailey, a man with big plans who foregoes his dreams to help his community in its time of need. On Christmas Eve 1946, beset by problems, feeling like a failure, and wishing he were never born, George perches on a bridge and contemplates jumping. At that moment, he is visited by an unconventional guardian angel, who shows him, through flashbacks, how his life has touched so many other lives and how different his beloved town would be if, indeed, he had never been born.
