Mark Twain wrote: “There are five kinds of actresses: bad actresses, fair actresses, good actresses, great actresses. And then there is Sarah Bernhardt.”

 

In 1897, the world-wide stage celebrity set out to tackle her most ambitious role yet: Hamlet. Even before the 20th century dawned, this exceptional woman leveraged her extraordinary talent and international fame to play the iconic role of Hamlet on a Broadway stage.

Sarah Bernhardt – Female, Age 35-55

Constant Coquelin – Male, Age 35-55

Lysette - Female, Age: adult but flexible

Edmund Rostand - Male, Age: adult but flexible

Alphonse Mucha - Male, Age: adult but flexible
