Casting Breakdown
Mollie Ralston - Female 20s-40s A new bride, excited at the opening of the inn she runs with her husband, inexperienced, but eager.
Giles Ralston - Male 20s-40s Mollie’s husband, worried about the prospect of running an inn and wary of their new guests.
Christopher Wren - Male 20s-30s Friendly and flamboyant, with a penchant for morbid subjects and inappropriate laughter.
Mrs. Boyle - Female 40s-60s Believes there is a right way and a wrong way to do things, and Mollie is definitively wrong.
Major Metcalf - Male 40s-60s Retired army officer, polite and helpful, but seems to get nervous whenever the murder is mentioned.
Miss Casewell - Female 20s-30s Taciturn, enjoys needling Mrs. Boyle. Seems reluctant to discuss her past and none too thrilled about being back in England after some years abroad.
Mr. Paravicini - Male 40s-60s Arrives without reservation or background check. Could be any age; it’s hard to tell under the makeup. Who knows if he’s even really Italian.
Sergeant Trotter - Male 20s-30s Policeman who arrives at the inn after clues from a murder in London point that way. May be a bit young for the job, but seems anxious to prove himself.
