CENTERstage Productions will hold open auditions for Lou Trapani’s musical adaptation of the Charles Dicken's classic, A Christmas Carol directed by Diana di Grandi with music direction by Paul and JoAnne Schubert.

Location: The CENTER for Performing Arts at Rhinebeck.

Performance Dates: Dec. 6 - 22, 2019. There will be four weekday morning performances for school field trips.

Seeking: Adult and child actors/singers/dancers. All ethnicities are strongly encouraged to audition.  Character breakdown below.

Prepare / Bring:16 bars of a Christmas carol or song and bring your sheet music for our pianist. Also be prepared to perform a one -two-minute monologue. Please bring your calendar and be prepared to list all rehearsal conflicts.

Boy Scrooge – gender: male, age: 10 -15
Little Fan – Scrooge’s sister - gender female, age 10 - 15
Young Scrooge - gender male, age 20 -30
Young Alice/Old Alice – Scrooge’s fiancée, gender: female, age 18 -30
Fred – Scrooge’s nephew, gender: male, age 20 - 35
Fred’s Wife - age 20 - 35
Bob Cratchit – Scrooge’s clerk, age 30 - 50
Mrs. Cratchit – age 30 - 40
Young Bob Cratchit – age 12 - 16
